APPSC Announces Recruitment Examination Notifications

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) released two notifications on Wednesday regarding upcoming examinations for various government positions in the state.
The first notification pertains to applications for the computer proficiency test scheduled for the April 2025 session. This test is for village/ward/secretariat functionaries, including Panchayat Secretary Grade-V in the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department, and Village Revenue Officer (VRO) Grade-II and VRO Grade-I in the Revenue Department.
Additionally, employees appointed on compassionate grounds in all heads of departments and directorates after May 12, 2014, along with Senior Assistants promoted from VRO Grade-I and compassionate VROs, are eligible to apply.
The application window opens on February 24, 2025, and closes on March 6, 2025. Candidates are encouraged to visit the APPSC website (www.psc.ap.gov.in) for further details and the complete notification.
In another notification, the APPSC announced that the Group-II Services Main Examination is scheduled for February 23, 2025. The exams will be conducted in two sessions: Paper-1: 10 am to 12.30 pm, Paper-2: 3 pm to 5.30 pm
These examinations will take place across 13 district centres. Candidates can download their hall tickets from February 13, 2025, via the APPSC website (https://psc.ap.gov.in). The commission advises candidates to download their hall tickets in advance and follow all instructions carefully.
