Vijayawada: Vijayawada Municipal Corporation commissioner H.M. Dhyanachandra urged parents and children to enrol in summer coaching camps being organised from May 1 to May 30, 2026, for overall development.

The camps will be held at 16 centres across the city, covering shuttle badminton, swimming, cricket, skating, lawn tennis, table tennis and yoga. Swimming training will be offered at Sir Vizzy, KL Rao and Guru Nanak Colony pools, while badminton coaching will be conducted at DRR Indoor Stadium, Chennupati Ramakotaiah Indoor Stadium and Gandhi Indoor Stadium.
Skating camps will be held at Rose Garden, GVS Sastry and Rajiv Gandhi parks, cricket at Pagoda Park and Kedareswarapeta Park, and table tennis and yoga at Chennupati Ramakotaiah Indoor Stadium.
The commissioner called on parents to encourage children to make use of the facilities.
