APCRDA Notifies Land Acquisition for Amaravati Seed Access Road
APCRDA said farmers willing to opt for land pooling could approach the competent authority offices in their respective villages

VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) has issued a notification for land acquisition for the construction of the Seed Access Road in the State capital, Amaravati.
The state government had earlier pooled land from farmers and landowners under the Land Pooling Scheme (LPS) for infrastructure development. However, in certain stretches of the proposed Seed Access Road, farmers in a few villages did not come forward to offer land under the scheme.
Following a request from APCRDA commissioner K. Kannababu, the Guntur district collector, A. Thameem Ansariya, issued a notification to acquire the required land through the land acquisition process.
The notification covers a total extent of 12.5758 acres, comprising Undavalli (10.5018 acres), Penumaka (0.65 acres), Mandadam-1 (0.7 acres), Rayapudi-1 (0.471 acres) and Rayapudi-2 (0.253 acres).
APCRDA said farmers willing to opt for land pooling could approach the competent authority offices in their respective villages.
