APCPDCL Chief Directs Uninterrupted Power Supply During Summer

Vijayawada:APCPDCL chairman and managing director (CMD) P. Pulla Reddy on Wednesday directed officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply across the state during the ongoing summer.
He issued the directive during a review meeting with superintending engineers and executive engineers of all districts at the APCPDCL corporate office in Vijayawada.
The CMD reviewed feeder-level solarisation, installation of solar rooftop systems for SC and ST consumers, and implementation of the PM Surya Ghar scheme.
He ordered officials to ensure 100 per cent revenue collection and prioritise resolution of low-voltage issues. He stressed on continuous monitoring of feeders to prevent breakdowns and ensure reliable power supply.
Pulla Reddy wanted officials to complete billing on time and expedite works on newly constructed substations. He asked officials to expand WhatsApp governance services for better redressal of the consumer grievances.
The CMD said APCPDCL has received 78.1 per cent positive feedback in a public survey. He asked officials to improve the rating to over 90 per cent. He ordered that works under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) be speeded up.
Other senior officials, including directors and chief general managers, also participated in the meeting.
