AP: Twin Towers To Come Up At Quantum Valley
The municipal administration department issued order allocating Rs 1,208.41 crore for the Twin Towers (T1 & T2) shell and core works

The Andhra Pradesh government has given administrative clearance for the construction of twin office towers in Quantum Valley at Amaravati. The Twin Towers would accommodate offices relating to infrastructure and administration in the capital region. The municipal administration department issued order allocating Rs 1,208.41 crore for the Twin Towers (T1 & T2) shell and core works.
The funds were sanctioned in accordance to the decision taken at the 60th APCRDA meeting held on April 23.
The government has decided that the project would be taken up on 'design build lumpsum' percentage tender basis.
This would help the constructing company to take up planning, designing and execution effectively. The AP government ordered the Amaravati Growth and Infrastructure Corporation (AGICL) to take up the project works immediately. The AGICL managing director would monitor the project and execute it, as per the orders.
The Twin Towers have been strategically placed near the Quantum Valley to aid the development of IT, administrative and commercial wings in Amaravati. The Twin Towers would remain iconic buildings in Amaravati, transforming it into a global city.
