AP to Rescue Telugu People Trapped in Gulf War
Many passengers are facing difficulties at some airports due to the war situation

KAKINADA: Labour minister Vasamsetti Subhash announced that steps are being taken to rescue Telugu people trapped in the Gulf countries due to the war between the US-Israel and Iran.
Subhash said he has spoken through video calls to some of the Telugu people trapped in those countries and instilled confidence among them. Many passengers are facing difficulties at some airports due to the war situation.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and NRI Affairs minister Kondapalli Srinivas are monitoring the situation.
Minister Subhash said Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society has geared up to help the Telugus trapped in the area due to the war. He maintained that the safety of every worker who has gone abroad for employment is important for the state government. Appropriate action would be taken in coordination with the central government.
Subhash hoped that peace would soon prevail and normal conditions restored in the area. Those who spoke to the minister from Gulf countries included Bonthu Nagaraju and Katta Naga Malleswara Rao from Kuwait, Kadali Venkata Krishna from Dubai, Pithani Satyanarayana (Satya Murthy) from Qatar, Chintalakshmi Narayana from Bahrain and Pithani Rambabu from Saudi Arabia.
