AP to present annual budget 2025-26 today

Minister for agriculture K. Atchannaidu will present the agriculture and allied sectors budget, while excise, mines, and geology minister Kollu Ravindra will present the budget in the AP Legislative Council.
The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, will meet on Friday morning to approve the 2025-26 budget proposals.
Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, will meet on Friday morning to approve the 2025-26 budget proposals. Finance minister Payyavula Kesav will present the budget in the AP Legislative Assembly at 10 am.

Municipal administration and urban development minister P. Narayana will present the agriculture and allied sectors budget in the Council.
The government is expected to propose a total expenditure between ₹3.05 lakh crore and ₹3.20 lakh crore. The fiscal deficit is projected at 4.19 per cent of the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), with a revenue deficit of 2.12 per cent. The allocation for agriculture and allied sectors stands at ₹11,855 crore.
