AP to Host Southern Conference on AI-Driven Health Care on Dec. 15

Andhra Pradesh to host a southern states conference with the participation of seven states and three UTs on Dec. 15 in Vijayawada to formulate a model on AI-driven health care by involving the stakeholders.
AP health secretary Sourabh Gaur, in a statement issued here on Friday, stated that the health department had set up 10 special committees to make arrangements for the conduct of the southern conference and added that secretaries from the health and IT departments from Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, AP, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and Puducherry would take part along with directors from the National Health Mission in the conference.
Health commissioner G. Veerapandian said that the central government was contemplating coming up with a draft proposal based on the feedback derived from the regional conferences held in the selected states at the national conference scheduled to be held on ‘AI Impact Summit for Health’ from Feb. 26 to 28 in New Delhi.
