Visakhapatnam: The teacher of a private school was publicly assaulted on Thursday for allegedly misbehaving with a girl student after regular study hours near Vaddadi of Butchayyapeta mandal in Anakapalli district.
As per reports, the girl narrated the entire episode to her parents on Wednesday night. On Thursday, her parents, along with other family members, went to the school, tied the teacher to a concrete pillar, and started beating him up.
As the word spread, police rushed to the spot, pacified the angry parents, and took the teacher into custody.
Sub-inspector Srinivas of Butchayyapeta police said they have received a complaint from the victim girl’s parents. Investigation is on and they will register a case against the teacher, the SI added.
