Suryapet: In a tragic incident, Thapsi Praveen, a 41-year-old native of Patharlaphad village in Atmakur(S) mandal, Suryapet district, died after accidentally falling into a community swimming pool in Atlanta, United States.
Praveen, who had been residing in the U.S. for the past six years, was employed as a teacher at an educational institution. He lived in Atlanta with his wife, Shanthi.
The incident occurred over the weekend, and Shanthi informed Praveen’s family about the tragic accident on Sunday evening. The sudden demise of Praveen has left his family and friends in shock, both in India and the U.S.
Further details about the circumstances leading to the accident are yet to be disclosed. The family is currently making arrangements to bring his body back to India for the final rites.
