AP Seeks KRMB Meeting on Krishna Water Sharing

Andhra Pradesh also sought allocations to meet its drinking water requirements and other essential needs.

Vijayawada:The Andhra Pradesh government has written to the Krishna River Management Board (KRMB), seeking an urgent meeting with Telangana to finalise water sharing and regulation for the current water year.

The state requested the KRMB to convene a meeting of the Board or its Three-Member Committee to work out a fresh arrangement for releases from the Srisailam and Nagarjuna Sagar reservoirs.

Andhra Pradesh also sought allocations to meet its drinking water requirements and other essential needs.
