Vijayawada:The Andhra Pradesh government has issued orders sanctioning two instalments of Dearness Allowance (DA) for employees and pensioners.
Finance Principal Secretary Peeyush Kumar issued the GOs here on Friday. Accordingly, a DA of 2.73% will be released with effect from July 1, 2024, while the 26-month arrears will be paid in four instalments in April, June, August and October 2027.
Similarly, another DA instalment of 1.82% will be released with effect from January 1, 2025. The 20-month arrears will be paid in four instalments in January, March, May and July 2028.
