81.14 % pass rate for SSC exams in AP

Around 1,680 schools registered 100 per cent pass percentage while 19 schools reported zero per cent pass percentage

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government on Wednesday released the SSC Public Examination results with a pass percentage of 81.14 per cent. Girls outshined boys by recording 84.09 per cent pass against the 78.31 per cent for boys.

A total of 6,14,459 candidates appeared for the exams held in March from 11,819 schools. As many as 1,680 schools secured 100 per cent pass while 19 schools reported 0 pass. As for overall pass percentage, girls scored 5.78 per cent higher than boys.
The Parvathipuram Manyam district recorded the highest pass percentage at 93.90 per cent while the Alluri Sitharama Raju district the lowest pass percentage at 47.64. Residential schools scored the highest pass percentage at 95.02.
Out of the total, 65.36 per cent of the students secured the first division followed by 10.69 per cent in second division and 5.09 per cent, the third division.
Yalla Nehanjani from Kakinada has achieved a perfect score of 600 out of 600 marks in the SSC Public Examinations, according to results released on Tuesday. She studied at a private school in Kakinada.
Another student, K. Prema Satya, also from a private school in Kakinada, secured 599 marks.
Similarly, Y. Aneesha from a private school in Elamanchili scored 599 out of 600, while Pavani Chandrika from the ZP High School at Oppicherla in Palnadu district secured 598 marks.
The SSC advanced supplementary examinations, 2025 would be held from May 19 to 28 and the exam fee to be paid is from April 24 to 30 without late fee and from May 1 to 18 with a late fee of `50.
The candidates who wish to apply for recounting or reverification of answer scripts may do so online from April 24 at 10am to May 1, up to 11pm, and the fee for recounting is `500 per subject and the fee for re-verification is `1,000 per subject.
For the first time, the results have been released simultaneously through multiple platforms in the state like Mana Mitra, LEAP mobile application, on official results portal: www.results.bse.ap.gov.in.
With regard to subject-wise pass percentage, first language secured-95.94 per cent, second language 99.51 per cent, third language 96.10 per cent, Mathematics 86.92per cent, General Science 90.17 per cent and Social Studies 92.90 per cent.

Education Minister Nara Lokesh, in a post on social media, said, “I am delighted to see that Parvathipuram Manyam district has topped the list with an impressive 93.90 per cent pass rate and 1,680 schools have secured 100 per cent results.”

”My heartfelt congratulations to all the students who have passed. To those who didn’t succeed, don’t be disheartened. Life offers another chance.”
