To ensure uninterrupted power supply and quick restoration in case of damage, line gangs, erection teams, tree-cutting squads, and fault locators have been strategically deployed at critical substations such as Machilipatnam, Pamarru, Avanigadda, Gudivada, Bapatla, Repalle, Ongole, Chirala, Guduru, and Nellore

In view of the landfall of Cyclone Montha, heavy rainfall associated with gusty winds are expected to wreak havoc in the coastal areas. To ensure uninterrupted power supply and quick restoration in case of damage, line gangs, erection teams, tree-cutting squads, and fault locators have been strategically deployed at critical substations such as Machilipatnam, Pamarru, Avanigadda, Gudivada, Bapatla, Repalle, Ongole, Chirala, Guduru, and Nellore.
Emergency restoration equipment including ERS towers, 7.5 HP dewatering diesel pumps, and vehicles with spare materials have been positioned at Nunna, Machilipatnam, Avanigadda, and Ampolu.
Sufficient stock of key components such as 132 kV and 220 kV CTs, PTs, lightning arresters, VCBs, has been ensured across APTRANSCO stores located at Gajuwaka, Bommuru, Gunadala, Ongole, Kurnool, and Kadapa for immediate deployment.
