AP Police Start Online Portal For Ganesh Pandal Permissions

AP Police launch a single-window portal for free online Ganesh pandal permissions, integrating clearances from police, fire, municipal and other departments.

Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta has announced the launch of a statewide single-window online system to streamline permissions for Ganesh Chaturthi pandals. The initiative aims to ensure safe, orderly, and citizen-friendly celebrations across the State.

The web-based portal – www.ganeshutsav.net – integrates clearances from multiple departments, including Police, Fire, Municipality, Electricity, and Revenue. Ganesh pandal organisers can now submit applications online, eliminating the need for repeated visits to government offices.

According to the DGP, the objective is to make the permission process available free of cost, simple, transparent, and secure.

Organisers can submit details from any location. All departmental approvals will be processed through the same platform. Local SHO and multi-department teams will inspect the proposed sites. Approved pandals will receive certificates, which can be scanned for easy verification. There will be no charges for application or processing.

The facility is uniform across all districts. The system reduces delays, promotes transparency, and strengthens compliance with safety norms in case of large gatherings.

Andhra Pradesh police have asked organisers to cooperate with the verification teams, comply with safety conditions, and keep the digital NOC available at pandals. Citizens have been requested to celebrate peacefully with discipline and responsibility, while maintaining public safety and communal harmony.

The Police department has reiterated its commitment to facilitate Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, while ensuring traffic management, law and order, and coordinated civic oversight across the state.
