AP: Pattadar Passbooks To Be Distributed From Friday
The minister informed that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had signed orders removing five types of lands from 22A list in the New Year

Agriculture minister Anagani Satya Prasad said officials would stress on resolving land disputes in 2026. Passbooks would be distributed from January 2 basing on a mandal-wise schedule.
If there is an irregularity in the passbook, the officials would visit respective houses and do the necessary correction. The guilty will be punished, he said.
The minister informed that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had signed orders removing five types of lands from 22A list in the New Year. A decision regarding the remaining four types of lands would be taken after GoM discussion. Private patta lands have been completely removed from the 22A list.
Officials have been directed to remove all private patta lands suo moto, except those of Army personnel, freedom fighters and politically-targeted leaders. For allocation of lands, officials were directed to refer to the recommendations register maintained by the district Sainik Officer. Assignment registers and DR documents are also sufficient. Those having old revenue records like 10(1) register, adangals, SFA can also be removed from the 22A list. If the land holder has any one among the 8 types of documents specified by the authorities, they should be removed from the 22A list.
He also directed the officials not to harass the land owners asking for additional documents. He said that the NDA government was committed to protect the rights of land owners.
