AP Overhauls Executive Councils of State Universities

The government also constituted new Executive Councils for a three-year term in several universities, including Andhra University

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government on Friday terminated the Class-II (nominated and non-permanent) members of the Executive Councils of all 19 universities in the state.

The government issued separate Government Orders (GOs) for each university, terminating the Class-II members of their Executive Councils, while clarifying that the Class-I ex-officio members will continue to serve. The government also constituted new Executive Councils for a three-year term in several universities, including Andhra University.
