AP MLC polls: No liquor sale up to 4 pm on Feb. 27

Vijayawada: Liquor will not be sold from 4 pm of February 25 to 4 pm on February 27 in 16 districts beginning from Srikakulam to Bapatla in the state due to MLC elections to be held on February 27.

The state excise authorities issued instructions to the district collectors and district election officers to ensure dry days for the said period.

With this, liquor sale will not be allowed in liquor shops, bars, star hotels, toddy shops and at any other source during the above mentioned period.
