Kakinada: A love marriage issue has led to clashes between two village people in Kaikaluru Mandal of Eluru District. According to sources, a youth of Chatakaya village and a girl of Nathagullapadu village had a love marriage on Friday evening, and they approached Buchireddypalem police in Nellore district. After holding discussions, while the two youths were taken to their village in the presence of the elders of both the families, the relatives of the girl allegedly forcibly took her into their car. There was a quarrel between them. The relatives of the girl have taken the girl to Kaikaluru Rural police station. According to police, the youth, and the girl have fallen in love up to intermediate.
Later, the youth’s family went to Buchireddypalem for livelihood. Then the love matters between them were closed. But two days back, the youth approached the girl and said that he would commit suicide, unless she expresses her consent to marry him. Then the girl went to him and changed the garlands without any evidence and the tradition.
Then the parents of the youth took them to Buchyreddypalem police. Kaikaluru Rural Circle Inspector Ravi Kumar said that when he asked the opinion of the girl about the issue, she made it clear that she had no love with him, and she wants to hear the voice of her parents.
The youth also agreed to her proposal, and the youth left her parents and went to his village along with his family members. The two families belong to the same community and also the distant relatives.
