AP High Court Orders CID Probe into TTD Parakamani Case

Court directs CID and ACB to investigate role of TTD officials and examine assets of accused Ravikumar and his family members

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has ordered a CID investigation into the TTD Parakamani affair, issuing key directions regarding the settlement of the theft case earlier registered in the Lok Adalat.
The court instructed the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to probe the assets of Ravikumar, who was involved in the theft, and to verify the bank accounts and properties of his family members. It also directed that the investigation should cover whether any assets were transferred in connection with the case.
Furthermore, the High Court emphasized that the role of the TTD Board and officials in the settlement of the case must be thoroughly investigated. The CID and ACB have been ordered to submit a detailed report in the next hearing.
