AP Health Minister Assures Support to Young Cancer Patient
Dy CM Pawan Kalyan Directs Minister to Seek Balakrishna’s Help for Ailing Child
VIJAYAWADA: AP Medical, Health, and Family Welfare minister Y. Satya Kumar Yadav on Sunday visited the Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute (BIACH&RI) in Hyderabad to check on a six-year-old cancer patient, a resident of Mulakalacheruvu in Annamayya district.
Satya Kumar proceeded to Hyderabad on learning that Sasani Chandrika has been diagnosed with a cancerous tumour below her eye. Her mother Vijayamma had issued a public appeal for help, as her husband had died, leaving the family in severe financial distress.
On learning about the child's condition Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan directed Satya Kumar to visit the girl and approach BIACH&RI chairman Nandamuri Balakrishna, seeking immediate help on behalf of the girl.
