AP Handicrafts Festival Draws Huge Crowds in Vijayawada
The Andhra Pradesh Handicrafts Festival in Vijayawada is witnessing a strong response, with visitors thronging stalls showcasing traditional handlooms and handicrafts.
The Andhra Pradesh Handicrafts Festival–2026, under way at Mary's Indoor Stadium near Patamata Centre in Vijayawada, has been attracting a large number of visitors, according to Lepakshi vice-chairman and managing director Vishva Manohar.
He said the festival features numerous stalls displaying traditional handloom textiles and handicrafts from across Andhra Pradesh, offering visitors an opportunity to explore the state's rich artistic and cultural heritage.
Manohar said handloom fabrics, handcrafted products and traditional artefacts from different regions of the state had emerged as major attractions. Visitors have been purchasing handloom sarees and handicraft products in large numbers, providing much-needed support to weavers and artisans.
He said the exhibition is open daily from 10 am to 9 pm and will conclude on July 20.
