Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government has transferred IAS officer and Kuppam Area Development Authority (KADA) Project Director, Vikas Marmat, with immediate effect and he directed to report in GAD for further posting.
The Collector and District Magistrate, Chittoor district shall make necessary in-charge arrangement to the post of Project Director of KADA, according to G. Sai Prasad, Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary.
Bengaluru police have booked Vikas Marmat for allegedly abusing and assaulting police personnel during an inspection at Cavore Bar and Restaurant in Bengaluru in the early hours of October 10.
Vikas Marmat, a 2019-batch IAS officer, has been named as an accused in the case registered at Cubbon Park police station.
