Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh government is gathering information on whether any people from the State are stranded in the disaster that took place in Nepal.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to identify AP residents stranded in the Nepal floods and take steps to move them to safe locations. The state government is coordinating with the Central government.
A control room has been set up at AP Bhavan in Delhi and those seeking information about the people stuck in Nepal could contact the AP Bhavan Control Room numbers: 011-23384016, 011-23387089 and WhatsApp: 9059824101
Naidu directed the RTGS to continuously monitor the situation and extend assistance to affected pilgrims.
