AP Gets Two More Free Dialysis Centres Under PM-NDP

Nellore:The number of dialysis centres operating under the Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Programme (PM-NDP) in Andhra Pradesh has increased from 59 to 61, the Rajya Sabha was informed on Tuesday.

Union minister of state for health, Prataprao Jadhav, stated this while replying to a question from Beeda Masthan Rao Yadav. He said 1,856 haemodialysis centres equipped with 13,535 machines were providing free dialysis services across 751 districts in 36 states and UTs as of June 30, 2026.

The new dialysis centres were approved based on proposals submitted by states under their annual Programme Implementation Plans and assessment of district-level gaps. Their functioning is monitored through common review missions.
