AP: First-year Medical Student Found Dead in KGH PG Hostel

Visakhapatnam: A first-year medical student was found dead in his hostel room at the King George Hospital (KGH) postgraduate accommodation facility on Thursday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Motilal, a native of Srikakulam district who was pursuing his first year in the Radiology department at KGH.
According to One Town Police officials who responded to the scene, the tragic incident occurred when Motilal’s roommate had left for work. Upon returning to the room, the roommate found the door locked from inside and received no response despite repeated knocking. Later the roommate broke down the door and discovered Motilal’s body.
One Town Police Station personnel arrived at the scene promptly after receiving the alert. The preliminary investigation suggests the incident occurred during the time when Motilal was alone in the room.
Motilal’s family in the Srikakulam district has been informed, and the body has been sent for the postmortem.
