Pithapuram: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan expressed grief over the death of a man in an accident involving a garbage collection vehicle in Pithapuram.
According to the reports, Ravuri Yesu Babu, a rag picker, died after he was accidentally buried under waste while it was being unloaded from a garbage collection vehicle in Pithapuram.
Pawan Kalyan directed the officials to conduct a thorough inquiry into the incident and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Following the Deputy Chief Minister's directions, officials immediately provided an ex gratia of Rs. 2 lakh to Yesu Babu's family.
Pawan Kalyan also directed the authorities to provide an outsourcing job in the Pithapuram Municipality to the deceased's wife, Ravuri Maniratnamma, to support the family's livelihood.
