Delegation meets Singapore Home Minister Shanmugam; focus on public safety, governance and accountability
Amaravati: A delegation of Andhra Pradesh ministers is continuing its official visit to Singapore, where they are undergoing a week-long training programme aimed at improving governance and public service delivery.
On Wednesday morning, the ministers met Singapore Home Minister K. Shanmugam, who briefed them on the country’s public safety measures and legal framework. The session focused on how Singapore ensures the safety and security of its citizens through effective governance.
As part of the training programme, the ministers are also scheduled to attend sessions on “Nation First Governance” and political accountability later in the day.
The delegation includes ministers Anitha, Narayana, B.C. Janardhan Reddy, Anagani Satya Prasad, Atchannaidu, and Satya Kumar.
