AP Constitutes GoM On Hiking Retirement Age To 62 Years

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh government has constituted a three-member Group of Ministers (GoM) to examine enhancing the age of superannuation of regular employees working in government institutions / societies / corporations included in the IX and X Schedules of the AP Bifurcation Act, 2014, to 62 years from 60 years.
In this regard, Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand issued a government order on Friday.
The GoM comprises Municipal Administration minister P. Narayana, Human Resources Development minister Nara Lokesh and Finance minister Payyavula Keshav.
Principal secretary (Finance) will be the convenor of the GoM on raising the age of superannuation.

As per the order, the GoM must submit its report to the state government at an early date. 5-member SAG to strengthen inclusive education On the day, the AP government further constituted a five-member State Advisory Group (SAG) to strengthen inclusive education and establish 125 autism centres in the state.
The SAG comprises Sundarapu Vijay Kumar, MLA, Yelamanchali in Visakhapatnam district; P.V. Parthasarathi, MLA, Adoni in Kurnool district; Pusapati Aditi Gajapathi Raju, MLA, Vizianagaram district; Kakarla Suresh, MLA, Udayagiri in Nellore district; and Kancharla Srikanth, MLC, Chittoor district.
