Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation stone for establishing the Renew Photovoltaics Private Limited at Rambilli SEZ in Anakapalli district on April 23.
Ahead of the event, district collector Vijaya Krishnan held a meeting with joint collector Souryaman Patel, and superintendent of police Tuhin Sinha at the collectorate on Wednesday.
As 10,000–20,000 people are expected to attend a meeting after the foundation stone-laying ceremony, the collector asked officials to make the necessary arrangements for parking, traffic regulation, and security. In addition, she ordered that the stage, VIP and VVIP galleries, decorations, and other facilities be completed within the stipulated time.
The meeting venue is a 10-acre site near Gajireddipalem in Rambilli mandal. Public parking will be arranged across 15 acres. LED screens are to be installed in the parking areas. Officials have been instructed to ensure that each gallery is able to accommodate 500 people.
An MRO will be appointed as in-charge for each gallery to oversee seating, drinking water, buttermilk, and other arrangements.
About 200 buses will be arranged to transport people. Bus in-charges have been instructed to ensure availability of drinking water and food in each bus before 7 a.m.
The collector said CCTV cameras should be installed across the venue and surrounding areas for continuous monitoring. She wanted traffic at the entry and exit points to be regulated effectively.
She asked for special security arrangements for VIPs. She wanted Quick Response Teams to be ready for handling any emergencies.
Vijaya Krishnan emphasised that as it is the summer season, sufficient drinking water and buttermilk supply must be arranged.
