AP CM, Governor Shocked At Plane Crash

Andhra Pradesh leaders express grief over Ahmedabad plane crash; CM postpones governance programme as a mark of respect.

Vijayawada: Governor Justice S Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu have expressed their shock and grief over the Ahmadabad plane crash. Naidu postponed the Suparipalanalo Toli Adugu (first step in good governance) programme of the government from Thursday evening to Friday.

Governor Nazeer said, "Deeply anguished and pained by the loss of precious lives. I offer my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wish for the speedy recovery of the injured.”

Naidu stated, “Deeply shocked and pained. Our thoughts and prayers are with the passengers, crew members, their families, and the affected residents.”

Deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan said, “The plane crash left us deeply shocked. It was a huge tragedy also as it crashed into the medical college hostel buildings. We grieve the losses along with the families of the deceased.”

Education minister Nara Lokesh said, “Shocked and saddened by the tragic crash. I offer my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and am praying for all those affected by this devastating incident. I urge the authorities to have a thorough investigation into the cause.”

Ministers Kandula Durgesh, Kolusu Parthsarathy, Kondapalli Srinivas, Janardhan Reddy and others too have expressed deep shock over the mishap.
