AP CID Announces 28 Multi-Skilled Home Guard Positions
The selection process will include certificate verification, physical measurements and skill tests in computer knowledge, typing and driving abilities
Vijayawada: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) of Andhra Pradesh has announced openings for 28 multi-skilled home guard positions under category B technical and other trades. These positions are being offered on a voluntary service basis with a daily duty allowance of Rs.710. Applications for these positions will be accepted from May 1 to 15 and can be submitted either by hand or through a registered post to the Director General of Police, CID Andhra Pradesh, at the AP Police Headquarters in Mangalagiri.
To be eligible, applicants must be local residents of Andhra Pradesh, aged between 18 and 50 years and meet the minimum height requirement of 160 cm for men and 150 cm for women, with a 5 cm relaxation for ST candidates. A minimum educational qualification of Intermediate (10+2) is required, and candidates with technical degrees in computers such as BTech, MCA, BCA, or BSc (Computers) will be given preference. Applicants must also possess strong computer skills, a valid LMV/HMV driving license and be medically fit with satisfactory character and background checks.
