The Cabinet has decided to provide 33 per cent reservation to BCs in rural areas, and 33.1 per cent to the community in urban areas in the local body polls. It was also decided that direct elections should be held for mayor posts

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet, under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, discussed more than 55 issues in the agenda and taken decisions on several of them.
