Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy inaugurated the Annaprasadam and Laddu Pottu Bhavans at Sri Kanaka Durga Temple atop the Indrakeeladri hill in Vijayawada on Friday.
Built at a cost of ₹52.50 crore, the complex features a dining hall that can accommodate 800 people at a time, along with a modernised kitchen capable of preparing and serving food to up to 10,000 people.
Speaking on the occasion, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy said, “For devotees and volunteers, 800 people can have food at a time in this building. There are mechanised kitchens, which can prepare and serve food for 10,000 people at a time.
”TDP MP Kesineni Sivanath said, “With the blessings of Kanaka Durga Ammavaru, we are here inaugurating two buildings. One is the Annaprasada building, and the other is the Laddu Poodu building. Both buildings are for pilgrims. Around Rs 50 crore has been spent on the construction of these buildings.”
