Annamayya District: Two forest beat officers were severely injured after red sandalwood smugglers vehicles allegedly hit their vehicle in Annamayya district.

According to reports, forest officials were carrying out checks when the suspected red sandalwood smugglers allegedly rammed their vehicle into the officials' vehicle while attempting to flee.

Two forest beat officers sustained severe injuries in the incident. They were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
