Anitha Reviews Security Arrangements for PM’s Visit

Visakhapatnam: Home minister Vangalapudi Anitha reviewed the security and traffic arrangements for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Bhogapuram at a meeting with senior police officials in Visakhapatnam.
Director General of Police (DGP) Harish Kumar Gupta, Visakhapatnam City Police Commissioner Shankhabrata Bagchi, and senior police officers from across the State, who joined the meeting via video conference, attended the review.
The home minister directed officials to ensure foolproof security, effective traffic management, and widespread publicity on alternative routes to minimise inconvenience to the public. She stressed the need for inter-departmental coordination to ensure that the Prime Minister's visit is conducted smoothly and successfully.
