Anitha Reviews Local Body Poll Preparations With Alliance Leaders
Home minister Vangalapudi Anitha reviewed local body poll preparations with TD, Jana Sena and BJP leaders, stressing alliance coordination and public outreach.
State home minister Vangalapudi Anitha met leaders of the TD, Jana Sena and BJP at her residence in Nakkapalli on Friday to review preparations for the forthcoming local body elections.
Anitha called for greater coordination among the three alliance partners and urged leaders to work together to ensure NDA candidates’ victory. She asked party leaders and workers to remain accessible to the public and focus on resolving local issues.
She announced that coordination committees would be formed at the constituency level, along with three-member committees in villages, to strengthen cooperation among the alliance partners. She stressed that alliance cadres must remain united and support the selected candidate, irrespective of which party the candidate represents.
Anitha said youth and women would be given priority in the local body elections and appealed to party workers to actively support the alliance’s campaign.
On local administration and governance, she directed leaders to address public grievances promptly. She also said there should be no scope for irregularities in the Payakaraopeta constituency.
Leaders and representatives of all three NDA alliance partners attended the meeting.
