Andhra Pradesh: TTD Plans Geofenced Digital Map Of Commercial Establishments In Tirumala
The system will provide TTD officials with a single digital platform to access and monitor information on commercial establishments: Reports

TIRUPATI: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is developing a mobile application to digitally map and monitor shops, hotels and other commercial establishments in Tirumala using geofencing technology.
The application will identify the location of individual establishments and link it to digital records containing details of allottees, shops, hotels, business establishments and other commercial activities, along with licence information and expiry dates.
The system will provide TTD officials with a single digital platform to access and monitor information on commercial establishments. By combining location data with licensing information, officials will be able to view an establishment’s details along with its mapped location through the application.
Additional executive officer Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary reviewed the development of the application with representatives of Amaravati Solutions in Tirumala on Wednesday. The company is developing the application and made a presentation on its features during the meeting.
Venkaiah Chowdary reviewed the progress of the application, including the geofencing component and arrangements for licensing information. He directed officials to ensure that details of all commercial establishments in Tirumala were comprehensively recorded in the system.
He also asked officials to prioritise transparency and efficiency while developing the application and ensure that it improves the management and monitoring of commercial establishments. The initiative will create a location-based digital record of Tirumala’s commercial establishments, bringing their physical locations and licence details together on one platform for TTD’s administrative use.
