Andhra Pradesh to Pay 100% Gross Salary to 1,560 Contract Staff in Health Wing from 2023 at Cost of Rs 21.51 Cr per Annum
The GO made it clear that the benefit of 100 per cent gross salary shall not be extended to contract employees appointed under GO.
Vijayawada: As many as 1,560 contract employees working in the health department to get 100 per cent gross salary with effect from 14-09-2023 at a cost of Rs 21.51 crore per year and arrears of Rs 16.45 crore for the period 14-09-2023 to 31-03-2024 for 2,212 contract employees who got regularised under Act 30, 2023.
Health secretary Saurabh Gaur issued GO Ms No. 14 here on Friday stating that the government examined the issue relating to implementation of 100 per cent gross salary (Pay+DA+HRA) to contract employees appointed in the health department under certain three orders issued.
The GO made it clear that the benefit of 100 per cent gross salary shall not be extended to contract employees appointed under GOs issued subsequent to the three orders issued earlier and their remuneration shall continue to be governed under Minimum Time Scale policy.
