Andhra Pradesh: RINL Conducts Health Check-Ups For 2,000 Employees

VISAKHAPATNAM: Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), the corporate entity of Vizag Steel Plant, has been conducting a medical examination campaign on shop floors for the past two months.
As part of the campaign, around 2,000 employees and contract workers have undergone screening for key health parameters, including blood pressure, heart rate and blood sugar levels.
A dedicated medical team conducted the examinations at shop floors and administrative buildings. The health screening details and medical records are being maintained at the Occupational Safety and Health Record Centre (OSHRC) for documentation, monitoring and follow-up.
Employees found to have blood pressure or blood sugar-related issues were referred for further evaluation and medical advice. Medication and further investigations were advised wherever required.
According to a release issued on Tuesday, RINL is encouraging employees to make use of the facility and undergo regular health check-ups. The initiative is aimed at promoting preventive healthcare and timely medical intervention.
