Visakhapatnam: A low-level earthquake struck near Ichchapuram in Srikakulam district at around 3:40 am on Wednesday. The tremor was followed by another one at 4:03 am, forcing the residents come out of their homes.
No news of casualties or property damage reported from the area but two minor earthquakes within a span of 23 minutes have heightened the anxiety of the people. The memory of similar seismic events in October 2022 still lingers in the minds of residents of the area.
