Andhra Pradesh: Lokesh To Distribute 3000 Land Title Deeds At Mangalagiri

VIJAYAWADA: Minister Nara Lokesh would distribute land title deeds and enjoyment certificates to nearly 3,000 people from Mangalagiri Assembly segment under the programme titled ‘Mana Illu-Mana Lokesh’ on July 21 and 22 under phase-2.
Thousands of people-built houses in hill slope areas, or forest and temple lands falling under Mangalagiri segment and are living in them for decades without any official rights on the lands where live. If they intend to transfer the ownership of their lands to their children, or to raise loan to meet urgent expenditure, they are facing trouble.
In such a scenario, Lokesh promised to resolve their issue before the last elections. Accordingly, he gave away land title deeds to 3,002 people in parts of Mangalagiri segment in April, 2025 in the first phase of a scheme.
In the second phase, Lokesh would give away land title deeds of the lands to more people.
Meanwhile, Lokesh interacted with the mothers of student beneficiaries under Thalliki Vandanam scheme in Kondapaneni township park on Monday and inquired about the financial support being offered.
The minister said that the state government was working with a commitment to strengthen the government schools and improve the academic standards. Unlike the earlier period wherein parents used to feel jealous about the private schools by dint of their amenities and quality of education, “we are now making efforts to see that they feel jealous after seeing government schools,” he said.
He enquired about the functioning of the government schools, quality of teaching and also whether all the beneficiaries were getting the benefit of Thalliki Vandanam scheme for which they responded positively.
