Andhra Pradesh: ECI Fixes Sept. 5, 6 As Additional Special Campaign Days For Electoral Roll Corrections
The ECI had earlier extended the deadline for filing applications, claims and objections to September 10: Reports

VIJAYAWADA: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has fixed September 5 and 6 as additional special campaign days at polling stations to identify corrections in electoral rolls, receive applications, guide applicants and clarify their doubts.
The ECI had earlier extended the deadline for filing applications, claims and objections to September 10. It said Booth Level Officers (BLOs), along with Booth Level Agents (BLAs) appointed by political parties, would be available at polling stations to go through voter lists and identify corrections.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Vivek Yadav and additional CEO S. Dilli Rao held a video conference with collectors and District Election Officers (DEOs) on Thursday to review the progress of activities related to the special intensive revision of electoral rolls.
The DEOs explained the progress of various activities and assured that they would be completed within the scheduled timeframe.
Yadav directed the DEOs to give wide publicity to the extension of the period for filing claims and objections, focus on their disposal and organise the special campaign days at polling stations.
