Andhra CM Leaves For Delhi, To Seek Centre's Support For Key Projects
CM will hold a series of strategic meetings with senior union ministers to present the state's development priorities and mobilise central support

Vijayawada: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has embarked on a two-day visit to New Delhi to seek the Union Government’s support for the speedy execution of several ongoing and proposed projects in the state.
Naidu would participate in NITI Aayog's governing council meeting there and present AP’s policy roadmap.
During May 23 and 24, Naidu would meet senior ministers to present the state's development priorities and mobilise central support across various sectors.
His itinerary includes meetings with ministers of defence, finance, Jal Shakti, and electronics. The focus of discussions would be on Centre-State coordination for infrastructure, renewable energy and water resource management. Discussion would also centre around the implementation of new criminal laws and administrative preparedness.
On Friday, he would meet renewable energy minister Pralhad Joshi to explore collaboration in green energy projects. He would also discuss AP’s strategic defence and aerospace initiatives with defence minister Rajnath Singh.
In his meetings with Jal Shakti minister CR Patil, water infrastructure and pending irrigation proposals would be discussed. He would also meet science and technology minister Jitendra Singh to discuss research, innovation and industrial science collaborations.
In the afternoon, Naidu would interact with finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman. He would participate in a review meeting chaired by home minister Amit Shah on implementation of new criminal laws across states.
On Friday night, Naidu meets electronics minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss AP’s role in the future tech economy.
On Saturday, the CM would attend the 10th governing council meeting of NITI Aayog at Bharat Mandapam.
