Andhra CM Congratulates Women's Compound Team On Silver Medal In Archery

The chief minister said Andhra Pradesh was especially proud of Vennam, describing her as a daughter of the state whose continued excellence on the international stage inspires young athletes across Andhra Pradesh

Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday congratulated India's women's compound archery team, including Andhra Pradesh's Jyothi Surekha Vennam, for winning the silver medal at the Archery World Cup Stage 4 in Madrid. The Indian team, comprising Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Prithika Pradeep and Chikitha Taniparthi, settled for the silver medal at the Archery World Cup Stage 4 on Saturday.

"Congratulations to Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Prithika Pradeep and Chikitha Taniparthi on winning the silver medal in the Women's Compound Team event at the Archery World Cup Stage 4 in Madrid," Naidu said in a post on 'X'.

The chief minister said Andhra Pradesh was especially proud of Vennam, describing her as a daughter of the state whose continued excellence on the international stage inspires young athletes across Andhra Pradesh.

"Through APEX 2036, we remain committed to nurturing many more champions like her who will bring glory to Andhra Pradesh and India," he said.

Naidu also wished Team India continued success in the tournament.
