Anantapur Youth To Represent India At CICA
His selection recognises his contributions to youth empowerment, leadership development and nation-building initiatives over the past 15 years
ANANTAPUR: Bisathi Bharath, a youth leader from Anantapur district, has been selected to represent India at the 9th CICA Youth Council Meeting 2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The ministry of youth affairs and sports has selected three young leaders from across the country to participate in the international forum under the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA). Bharath is one of the three delegates.
His selection recognises his contributions to youth empowerment, leadership development and nation-building initiatives over the past 15 years.
The meeting aims to strengthen youth participation in addressing development challenges and promoting sustainable urban development across the CICA region. Delegates will exchange experiences on youth-led innovation, digital transformation, civic engagement, urban mobility, environmental sustainability, public safety and smart city development. Bharath will represent India along with fellow delegates Utsav and Amit.
Expressing gratitude, Bharath thanked Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr Mansukh Mandaviya and the Department of Youth Affairs for the opportunity.
