Anantapur: Three doctors killed in car accident

Three doctors from Ballari Government Hospital in Karnataka were killed in a road accident near Vidapanakal in Anantapur district on Sunday. The car they were travelling in collided with a tree on the national highway.
The deceased have been identified as Yogeesh, Govinda Raya, and Amaresh, who were on their way to Ballari after a trip to Hong Kong. They were travelling from Bengaluru to Ballari via Anantapur when the car lost control and crashed into a tree in Vidapanakal, approximately 30 kilometres from their destination.
The three doctors died at the scene, while another individual was seriously injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. The car was severely damaged, and the bodies were scattered at the crash site.
Police suspect that the accident was caused by dense fog. The deceased were all doctors at the OPD in Ballari Government Hospital. Vidapanakal police have transferred the bodies to Uaravakonda Hospital for post-mortem.
