Vijayawada: The Anand Mahindra Group on Saturday expressed its interest in investing in Andhra Pradesh.

The expression of interest (EoI) came in Telugu with Anand Mahindra himself responding to Education, IT and Electronics minister Nara Lokesh epistle appreciating a Telugu advertisement released by the Mahindra Group about the launch of its truck.

Seeing the ad, Lokesh took to X and thanked Anand Mahindra writing, “Loved the Telugu ad, Sir. AP is a large market for your vehicles and I am sure the ad (for truck) will be loved… Why not consider a #Mahindra manufacturing unit in the sunrise state of Andhra Pradesh to take advantage of our advanced automotive ecosystem and large market? Would love to host your team and showcase the abundant opportunities.”

The post did not go unnoticed by Anand Mahindra. He responded, starting his post in Telugu and ending it in Telugu.

Mahindra wrote, “Dhanyavadalu. Andhra Pradesh lo chala avakasalunnayi. (Thank you! There are many opportunities in Andhra Pradesh). We would be proud to be a partner in Andhra Pradesh’s journey. Our teams are already in discussions across multiple sectors, from solar energy to micro-irrigation to, of course, tourism. Mana prayanam ippude prarambham ayyindi… mundu emundo chuddam! (Our journey has just begun...let's see what lies ahead!)."
