AMTZ Bags Great Place To Work Certification

AMTZ unveiled the forum during a Leadership and Workplace Culture Dialogue held at the World Trade Centre, AMTZ, where HR and business leaders discussed strategies to build workplaces that foster employee growth, performance, and participation.

Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) has launched RISE HR‑Global Forum, a new platform designed to bring together human resource professionals to exchange ideas and best practices on workplace culture, recruitment, innovation, skills, and organisational excellence.

AMTZ unveiled the forum during a Leadership and Workplace Culture Dialogue held at the World Trade Centre, AMTZ, where HR and business leaders discussed strategies to build workplaces that foster employee growth, performance, and participation.

Dr. Jitendra Sharma, managing director and founder‑CEO of AMTZ, described the certification as recognition of the organisation’s workplace culture. He emphasised on the importance of developing human capital as the AMTZ ecosystem expands. He pointed out that employees must find purpose in their work and align themselves with the organisation's broader objectives.

Dr. Vishwanath Joshi, executive vice president and head of People and Culture at Great Place to Work India, highlighted that people remain central to organisational performance. He stressed the role of leadership in creating workplaces where employees feel heard, valued, and trusted.

E. Geetha Varalakshmi, chief people officer of AMTZ Group of Institutions, underlined the strong link between workplace culture and organisational performance. She called for greater focus on coaching, employee engagement, and opportunities for professional growth.

Nitin Bharadwaj, partner and head of Oracle Human Capital Management at KPMG India, noted the evolving role of HR within AMTZ, shifting from an administrative function to one that connects people, manufacturers, and institutions across the MedTech ecosystem.

The programme witnessed the signing of an MoU between RISE HR‑Global Forum and CTC Training Resources for capacity building and skill development. Other highlights include the launch of the RISE logo, showcasing of AMTZ’s workplace culture, an interactive workshop, and a campus tour.
