Amaravati Will Emerge as Tech & Knowledge City: Governor S. Abdul Nazeer

Vijayawada: Governor S. Abdul Nazeer stated that the state government was developing Amaravati not only as an administrative capital but as a future city that will symbolise technological excellence, digital governance and innovation-driven progress.

Addressing a gathering during the 13th convocation of Vignan’s Foundation for Science, Technology and Research, a deemed to be university, at Vadlamudi in Guntur district on Saturday, the Governor stated that the state capital city was envisioned as a ‘people’s capital’ and a ‘technology and knowledge city’ and would redefine the urban living through smart infrastructure, sustainability and citizen-centric digital services.

He further said that AP was poised to make a historic stride in cutting-edge technology with the ambitious ‘Quantum Valley’’ project, aimed at trnasforming the state into a global hub for quantum technology and with a clear roadmap, strategic partnership, Quantum Valley would promise to reshape the state’s economy and place India on the global quantum map.

Earlier, the Governor, presented degrees, gold medals and metric certificates to the graduating students and congratulated them.
